 - If I could, I would give a negative rating to this parking garage They charged me for $40 for 3 hours and after I paid, I took 15 minutes to take a phone call in my car. And they charged me another $20 because I stayed in the parking garage for additional 15 minutes. The Max, parking fee is $40/day and they charged $60

 - The term "highway robbery" comes to mind with this place. I was trying to find an address on 4th St. (I am not from LA). My GPS took me right into this garage and it turned out not to be even close to the right place. I was between a rock & hard place, didn't see the sign about $3.75 per ten minutes. Parked, walked several blocks to my destination. Came back and tried to pay the parking. It was $22.50 to start. While I was trying to figure out where to put the credit card, it changed to $26.25. I never did find the place to put the credit card, ended up paying with cash & pushed the button for "receipt". It gave me the ticket, but then I had to put that into the machine to get out of the garage and didn't get it back. I got ripped off and don't have any proof of it. Parking is one of the biggest rip-offs around. No one goes someplace, in and out, in less than 10 minutes - why charge in that increment? Totally ludicrous and should be illegal. Too bad we can't rate it as -5 stars.

 - Cheaper to park on the moon. Like most, parked in the wrong garage. At $22.50 per hour to park I am sure all garages in down town los Angeles have similar rates. The L.A. city council obviously needs to regulate this atrocity. Rates and rules need to be posted before entry with time and access to immediately leave prior to being "Robbed." I bet their customer service is top notch from what I have been reading from other reviews. If there are city regulations they need to be readdressed. What a money grab, shameful.

 - If you're in by 9 then it doesn't matter what time you leave, it's only $15 for the day. Also, if you do use the car wash then they offer validations for the day for $3. It's not as bad as the description but be wary of parking in the middle of the day without validations. Also this structure is known as J2 if you need to google directions.

 - I paid $39 to park for 2 hours! That is absolutely ridiculous! Who parks for 10 minute increments, it isn't near anything that you would be in and out of?? We parked there to check into our hotel, having no idea it was that expensive to park, then had to pay the sky high prices to "valet" park at the hotel next door. I will not be staying downtown anytime soon, I'll stick to my normal L.A. spots.

 - I use this lot for 24 Hour fitness nearby. The gym should validate your ticket so it won't be as pricey. I'd call the gym ahead of time to make sure but it shouldn't have changed recently. The gym's empty and the lots close by and cheap. That's a win-win in my book.
