 - LAZ Butler Garage in Seattle gave me a parking ticket for “unauthorized parking” and “taking two spaces”. When I called the manager/agent to discuss this ticket which was a lie and scam in the first place, the garage manager Stanley, told me he wrote the ticket and I was parked over the yellow line and also in a reserved space. I took many pictures of my car as centered as you can possibly park, which he also claims to have a picture of my car parked over the line, which I’d love to see. Butler Garage is probably used to most people they scam like this, just paying the $90 fine and forgetting it. It’s so wrong what they are doing and if this isn’t resolved, I’ll be seeing them in district court with my pictures and will let the judge resolve this. The sign that says “welcome to butler garage” as you drive in states, “this facility is for non-exclusive, unreserved and hourly parking only”. It’s signs are misleading and apparently there are in fact spots that their paying customers can’t park in front of and no signs stating not to park there. The garage is shared with a hotel, so I thought I was suppose to park in front of one of the “butler garage reserved” signs. I wasn’t affiliated with the hotel and having so many of these signs all over, made it appear that the parking stall was intended for the paying customer not staying at the hotel. This is an incredibly poor business practice and I hope it changes.
