 - If there are other options to park in the area - I highly suggest using them. However, if you do park in the Hayden Waest lot, take pictures with your phone (which are time and date-stamped photos, along with saving a copy of the ticket stub showing the time you paid to park as well as the time you drove off the lot (again take a picture with your phone) and proceed to step two. Step 2: Once you get the temple lot parking ticket "claiming you didn't pay," take pictures of the ticket and pictures of when you came and left the lot along with your time-stamped payment stub, post a matter-of-fact review on Yelp and Google, forward the review link to your social media buddy pages, and share. Follow up with a court appearance (after you submit the challenge to the company attempting to bill you for something that you paid for), then find yourself one of the many "Hungry" lawyers advertising for business in the area and convince them (it won't be hard) to initiate a class action lawsuit alleging fraud and perhaps just then the City of Tempe will take action to ensure this type of behavior is put to an end.

 - Husband parked here and paid $2 for an hour in April. Now in June, received $55 fine in the mail for not paying. Uploaded proof of payment. Company either has a crummy machine that isn't tracking payment or they are SCAMMING people in the hopes most won't have receipt or time to fight it. The city should do something about this.

 - Paid for parking. Have receipt. Coming after us for $55 and threats of impounding car, and legal action.

 - Make sure you print a receipt and have time for a court hearing if you park here. I had a receipt and was able to fight a ticket thanks to that but at the hearing the police officer swore the information they got from the garage showed my space as expired.
