Verizon Center Parking Lot:
The Verizon Center parking lot is located at 726 6th St. NW. You can't park any closer than this lot, but this convenience will cost you. Parking at this lot is normally $16 per day but during events parking rates can go as high as $27. Also, pre-paid parking permits are sometimes required to park at this lot on nights when high-profile events occur. To ensure a guaranteed parking spot in this lot, purchase a parking spot in advance. However, keep in mind that leaving the lot after an event can take awhile as there will be a lot of cars trying to exit at the exact same time.
Cheapest Parking Lot:
If you don't want to pay $20+ for parking then try the Franklin Parking lot at 901 5th St. NW. You have to walk a few blocks to get the stadium but parking is considerably cheaper at $10 per day (same price for events) and $15 for overnight parking (in case you have a little too much fun at the game).
