My first experience with ParkMe was fabulous. I searched online for the garage I wanted to park in, I reserved my spot at a discounted rate, the guy at the garage didn’t give me a hard time about accepting the printout of my payment, and we were able to park and exit without problems. Just absolutely awesome. We will use your services again. This is a rare time that I don’t even have any suggestions for improvements. Keep up the great work!
Your app quickly became a *must* for my things to do before traveling. I
enjoyed the great interface and the entire reservation process. I look
forward to using this app wherever travel takes me so thank you for
providing this comfort to me and the rest of the world. I wish you, and
your team, the best and good luck with your future endeavors.
Website was easy to use. Would love reviews of the parking facility (tight
spaces vs wide spaces, awkward driving lane spaces, first two levels
reserved for residents, etc). One major piece of info missing is that we
needed to scan our as code upon entry and exit. These was a holdup when we
tried to exit - we needed assistance from the parking guard as it is not a
manned exit. He was not overly friendly about the fact that we unknowingly
did not scan in during entry.
I have been paying for monthly parking at the 425 - 8th St., NW parking facility (The Lansburgh Residences) for over 15 years. In the past few months, the facility -- which had barely enough parking for those, such as myself, paying for monthly parking -- began a discount "in before 9 a.m." promotion. Other spaces are reserved 24/7 for FedEx vehicles, Zip Car and 3 floors for Lansburgh residents (who also are permitted to park on other floors). In the past week, an entire floor of parking (level 4 1/2) now has been blocked off for parking for Dept. of Justice. As a result, even if I arrive before 9 a.m., the attendants now are ILLEGALLY parking cars along ALL OF THE FIRE LANES simply to accommodate the monthly customers. At a minimum, the garage immediately must stop promoting the early a.m./all day discount parking to permit the long term monthly customers to be able to LEGALLY park their cars. Do we need to demand an inspection by the DC Fire Marshall to get corrective action?
Finding the lot was easy. The attendant recognized the
reservation. I was surprised that no ticket or paper
was left in the car. When I left the same attendant happened
to be there and somehow remembered me and just let me out.
Seems like maybe there should be some reservation receipt
you could stick in your window and show upon leaving, if
necessary. I would definitely use this service again.
The parking attendants at this site were friendly and helpful. I was happy to see that the parking spaces were spacious, not tight like in some garages, and that it was well-lit. Most of all the garage is conveniently located near major venues and provides the convenience of an elevator that lets you out on seventh street near the Shakespeare theater where I was attending a play. I plan to use the garage in the near future.
The reservation was easy to make and convenient for my boyfriend and I. We visited DC for the first time and we plan to use your app the next time we are there.
Very useful! No problem at all! Good job, guys...
Alex the Co-Founder of Parkme wanted me to leave a review so here it goes. My wife made the actual reservation and said it was a piece of cake. No problems at all with the website. When I made it to my destination the attendant at the lot was more than helpful. I needed directions from the lot to the event which was a half block up the street. So the lot was perfect. I will keep using this great service and for the price you can't beat it. Telling all my friends to get I this site. AWESOME JOB GUYS!
Park me worked great! Nice concept.
As with above, the email did not scan but the attendant was able to enter the confirmation number and it was accepted.
Their was only a minor problem with the reservations scan code it would scan but say my reservation was denied. But that was taken care of there. But beyond that the reservation was great very helpful. Thank you once again!
This was my first time using your service and it worked out great. It saved me a lot of angst searching for a parking spot in an unfamiliar area. The price was right and the parking staff was very polite and efficient. I would certainly use ParkMe in the future.
Paid the day rate so that we could go walking. The rate was reasonable and the lot was really close to places we wanted to see like the Crime Museum, the Newseum and lots of monuments and memorials.
It worked out great! The lot is actually on 10th St. as previous reviewer noted. Would do this happily again.
As a first-time user, I loved the idea of reserving a parking lot space for a downtown DC location ahead of the trip to the city, and knowing the pricing options beforehand. The only issue I had was locating the entrance ramp! The ParkMe confirmation listed "975 F St. NW," but I had to drive around the city block to find it was actually in the 6xx block of 10th St NW. (one-way heading south).
Worked great and had no problems.
Having the reserved parking spot was definitely a welcome stress relief. Everyone was very friendly and quite helpful.
The lot was very close to the national gallery and Newseum, my intended destinations. I saved $4 with the online price compared to the drive on price. The parking attendant was a bit confused with the reservation on my phone but he managed. Very convenient. Definitely would use this again.
The ParkMe reservation worked great. Knowing I'd have a spot when I arrived in DC (after a 3 hour drive) was important to me.
Would have helped to know that it was a valet park facility. Had the entry line been longer I would not have known to pull around the car in front of me that had not been moved yet.
Being able to reserve a spot was such a stress reliever. It allowed us to get to DC when we wanted rather than worry about getting in early. The location is extremely close to the National Mall. There is also an Old Town Trolley stop across the street which is convenient if you use them to get around. The rate I paid online was the same as if I had just gone there which means you don't pay ridiculous added fees to use the service. I will use this service everywhere I go from now on. My only two complaints are that I couldn't receive my initial 10% discount like advertised and I was surprised to find that the garage was a valet only garage. I would have brought my valet key and locked everything in the trunk beforehand had I known. But our stuff was safe so it all worked out great. Looking forward to using this service in the future.
Easy as can be, and even closer than I expected to be. The only issue for me (and it is not a big deal, just a little disappointing) was that I expected to get 10% off my first reservation and could not find any way to get the discount. The convenience of it outweighed that minor hiccup
Easy reservation process and excellent daily rates. Our GPS took us right there and parking was seem less. Will book through ParkMe during subsequent visits to DC. Be mindful of an adjacent parking garage near
lot 286 - Pennsylvania Avenue. Just look for the ParkMe sign. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again for taking the stress out of parking.
Reserving a parking spot for the day was great. This was my first trip to DC and I always hear issues with parking, but I reserved online a parking spot close to the National Mall. I plugged the parking garage address into my GPS and I had no issues getting to the garage and everything was as described on the website. We parked and we were within 2 or 3 blocks of the National Mall, an easy walk. The parking rate for the day was great and I didn't have to worry about having my car towed. I will definitely return to DC and reserve my parking spot with ParkMe. Thank you for taking the stress out of finding a parking spot!
Everything was as described. The only thing I would do is let people know that there is another parking garage with the same address, and it comes before yours. When we got to that one, we went in , and then were told that it was the next garage with the same address.
