Convention Center Garage

 - I was intending to park there Fri 11/11/22 for the Auto Show about 2:30 pm. I was in the lane to turn in to the one lane to enter but the lane was blocked by a green or yellow cone with reflectors in middle so I drove around streets the lot for another look and the same cone was there. Could not tell if it was full since the sign was not lit closed or full not clear. If full or closed a clear sign should be in place instead of a cone with no explanation. So I parked a half mile or so away at the Nueva street that was under construction. Sad we have to come to SA to see miles of fences and unwelcome cones. Complete controlled chaos.

 - Very Best, the closest to the Riverwalk for most value I could find. This is a public parking garage for $10 for the entire day! A couple of steps away is the Marriott Riverwalk Hotel. Go through their doors to the back and you will find the heart of the Riverwalk with the Riverwalk boat ride just to the right on the river.

 - 5/3/2018 - without any notice the garage was closed and shown as full at 5am this morning when I went to park. The garage appeared to be empty. I am handicap, missing left leg, and according to the American with Disabilities Act you are breaking the law by blocking handicap parking. Handicap parking cannot be reserved or blocked to a qualified person with a need and since this garage belongs to the city I believe you should know this. Handicap parking is first come first served by law.
