- This lot is basically a scam setup for a local towing company. It appears to be a free public lot with (there is no gate and no pay kiosks), but if you park there prepare to have a boot put on your car. The towing company will literally put the boot on and sit there waiting for you to come back. And then you have to pay $65 in cash to have it removed. When I called the tow guy out on this shady practice he confirmed it by saying, "Yes, that's basically what we do."
