- Absolute Rip Off. Had never used a Start/Stop car park before. No mention of it when paying for one hour's parking on the Ringo App at 1 pm, or in the confirmation text message which said I'd been charged £1.60 for one hour, as I wanted. Only 45 minutes after the session started was I sent a text message saying this was a Start/Stop car park and I would be charged until 9 pm that evening unless I stopped it. I left the car park at 1.40 pm, and as I was driving for some time I didn't see the text about Start/Stop until 3.30 pm. I then had to pay for 2.5 hours of parking, when I was only in the car park for 40 minutes. A disgusting, dirty, devious rip off. Beware.
Secondly, the parking spaces are the narrowest I have ever witnessed. Dangerously so. A car park to avoid for many reasons.
