- The car park at Ogston reservoir is controlled by an automatic gate that opens at 0730 and closes at 2000. We visited the site yesterday 22/06/2020 and found it closed at 1530 with no explanation. My wife has mobility problems so Ogston is a favourite place to sit and watch the birds on the water.
