- By far the worst experience I've had with a parking garage in my life. We've been parking here for years when visiting Portland. On Friday 6/26 we pulled in around 5:45 to park and get a quick dinner. We came back at 6:45 and the garage was closed and a $70 unlocking fee had to be paid to the security guard for him to press a button and open the garage. No attendant was needed to come on site - a security guard literally pressed a button for $70. There was a small sign on the door that said it closed at 6:30. We park there all the time and did not think of looking around as things seemed to be operating normal. This happened to many people as we stood outside waiting for the guard to process unlocking fees for all of us to get our cars out. I will NEVER use this parking garage again.
