- I believe this is the remote lot that took forever to figure out once I arrived at St Pete Int'l Airport on Thursday am 10-26-10-30-18
The signage is horrible at this airport w/the FDOT construction all around & the construction at the airport.
Finally I made my way to the lot across the street from the airport entrance, there were 2 small signs sitting on the ground saying the Lot Was Full-really on the ground ? How about let the traveller know this before driving around the entire airpot
There was not a single human being at mid-morning to ask a ? - where to park etc.
There was one sign on my way out of the airport that directed me to a mud and gravel lot it was a mess b/c it had rained the night before
There was one Republic bus waiting a ways-away I dragged my suitcase to, normally I am used to the buses coming to you to pick you up, NOPE not here.
The driver told us that this lot had numerous names & upon our return ask for one of these! She also stated basically good luck figuring that out when we returned
Upon my return on Tuesday 1 sign inside the baggage claim area pointed to outside.
Sidewalks closed, I was yelled at by one man saying I was walking in a closed sidewalk area, I had NO IDEA where to pick up the shuttle and he was of zero help
Finally I see a crowd of folks huddled together in the street 1 bus arrived & it was full
I waited 10 more mins for another bus The driver was equally confused
I returned to my newly detailed car a muddy mess
