- We went to Matheson Hammock Park on 11/17/2021 and paid the $7.00 fee to enter. The ticket was placed on the dashboard where it could be seen through the windshield. We parked at the beach area, which was 80% flooded with sea water and walked to the beach area which was also flooded right up to the entrance of the Red Fish Restaurant. No big deal, however upon returning to the car we found a $36.00 PPARKING TICKET on our windshield. What is going on? Is the park charging an entrance fee and a separate parking fee? That may be case as the park was almost empty. We will pay the citation, the ticket was nowhere to be found in the car, it may have blown out of the car as we left. Most of the park was underwater and soon, hopefully all of it will be underwater. We will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
