 - Parked last night, 4/19/23. At departure, I followed directions to pay at pay station Level E rather than at exit (mistake!). The machine, on which a placard said only the credit card side was working ("cash can't be accepted"), wouldn't take my parking ticket first, so tried credit card, which it promptly swallowed. "Cancel" button elicited only "Can't cancel, transaction processing" or some such and would not return card. On-call attendant -- in CHICAGO -- asked me to call "Mike" (206-571-7924) in the morning and return to pick up card. Right -- I live over an hour away. Mike, however, did answer the phone today and graciously said he'd mail me my just-retrieved card -- whew, thank you! (For what ABM/Buck charges to park, though, your machines should be in fully operational condition, don't you think?)

 - Super rude parking attendant this morning May 10th 2021 at 11:30am. I dropped my mom off for inpatient chemo and received parking validation from Buck Pavillion Oncology. I used the self-service parking payment booth and received my parking exit ticket. When I put it in the machine to exit, the ticket kept spitting back out at me. When I pulled up to talk to the attendant, he was super rude and told me the ticket I was holding belonged to the car that exited in front of me. Wait. What? I told him, no- this is the ticket I just received from the automated machine. He argued with me for several minutes before finally opening the gate to allow me to leave and. I mean, how would I have possession of the ticket from the car in front of me that just exited? Anyway, it was a very stressful experience and the attendant was rude and condescending. Some retraining should be in order - as many of the people using this garage either have a serious illness or are accompanying a loved one who is dealing with devastating illness and don't need this kind of disrespectul treatment on top of everything they are going through.
