- Yesterday, February 21, 2023 my wife and I came to the Kenton County Courthouse for an adoption "court," which was scheduled for 3:30. Unfortunately, we were running late because we were unfamiliar with the area and we first entered the IRS parking. When entered the courthouse parking our ticket was stamped at 3:31. It was around 4:00 when we left. We were charged $20 for parking. Others in our group who left at the same time paid $5.00. It was a disappointing end to a pleasant event, and also some of the most friendly and gracious courthouse employs I have ever met. Can the ticket be adjusted? The employ near the kiosk declared she just got there and indicated she was not able or willing to do anything about it.
