Las Vegas, NV, the city that never sleeps and where public intoxication is legal.  The party atmosphere in "Sin City" is the last place you want to be driving through, so read our parking tips to get your car parked as quick as possible so that you can go out and join in on all the fun!

Parking Lots and Garages: There are tons of parking lots in Las Vegas, providing plenty of parking for everyone!  There is an average of 291 parking spaces per lot, which isn't much, but if one lot is full the lot next door is most likely available.

The Strip: The Las Vegas Strip is lined with hotels and casinos, and each of these hotels has their own parking structure which is free to park in, all day, every day.

Street Parking: There is no street parking on the Strip, but there are hundreds of street meters in Downtown Las Vegas. Meters are normally enforced daily from 8am-8pm. Some areas have meters that are enforced M-F 8am-6pm and are $1.00 per hour with a 10 hour limit.  The meters in casino and retail areas are enforced 7 days per week, 8am-10pm and are $2.00 per hour with a 4 hour limit.

Airport Parking: If you are parking at the McCarran International Airport, there are several lots to choose from.  For short-term parking the short-term airport lot offers FREE parking for the first 15 minutes, and after that it is about $2 per hour until you reach the daily maximum of $36.  Long-term parking ranges from $10-$14 per day.

Pro Parking Tips:

Pro Tip 1: If you want to see all of Las Vegas but don't want to deal with dodging around all the inebriated pedestrians, park in any of the free hotel lots and travel around the Strip by hopping a ride on the Las Vegas Monorail.  The Monorail will take you from one end of the strip to the other while stopping at 7 resorts and 9 convention facilities including the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Pro Tip 2: There are several buses that travel directly from hotels on the Strip to the airport.  If you don't want to pay for parking at the airport you can park for free at a hotel lot and hop on the bus to the airport.
