SMP Garage

 - I have to agree with Angela. We just got back from our cruise on Sunday but when we arrived 8 days earlier we also paid for covered parking and had to park all the way to the top which was not covered as stated on the website for protecting my vehicle. The elevator on that floor was out of order we had to walk down the garage with our luggage until we got to the 3floor elevator which was working. This is misleading saying you will get covered parking when in fact you don't. I could have stayed at the other parking lots instead and got shuttled to the terminal and it would have been cheeper. This was my first cruise with Carnival but not my last so next time I know.

 - Pay no attention to Angela C!!! She did it wrong. SMP garage is the best place ever to park if sailing out of terminal 25. BEFORE YOU PARK, go drop off your sailing guests and pass off your luggage the porters (they all wear tropical shirts and have the big baggage carts). I tip the porters $5 per bag. Tell the people in your group to go get in the proper line. One line is for Diamond/Platinum, suites guests along with those who have Faster To The Fun and another line is for regular guests. Go park in the SMP Garage, take the ELEVATOR down and then walk across the street to the terminal. You're welcome & Happy Cruising. :)

 - When we arrived there was no covered parking left. The guy at the gate said it was first come first served. I paid for covered parking for three vehicles and we had to park on the very top of the building. To add insult to injury the elevator was out of order and we had to walk 3 flights down to the next elevator. I knew there was no shuttle, but I didn't know it was half a mile walk with a bunch of suitcases and a baby stroller. I would not recommend this garage, use one that has a shuttle and can drop you off at the door.
