This car parking facility just off the High Street in Wimborne/ Wimborne Minster, is a private car park (not council managed) it is in very poor condition, and now aggressively managed using ANPR by Parkingeye Ltd, who are not interested in fairness of the users.
Parkingeye Ltd are only interested in the profit they make from issuing parking breach of contract invoices they label as Parking Charge Notice. Enquiries identified they limit the time from entry to buying a ticket to the minimum and do not consider elderly, infirm or strangers to area, they also do not consider a genuine mistake. Parkingeye Ltd have chosen not to participate in the Ombudsman Service for appeals (which speaks volumes for this company).
I strongly advise any motorist looking for car parking in Wimborne not to use this car park, use alternatives provided and managed better by Dorset Council who are accountable.. Details are available on Dorset council website.
