The card machine said pin accepted, remove card. Then it said 'Cancelled'.
Repeated the attempt to pay.

Did it by phone (which was lengthy and painful).
That one worked.
Got home to find the 2 'cancelled' payments were actually taken from the bank.
So, in sumamry; patked ONCE, paid THREE times!
