- Just a heads up to anyone like me who in the past parked in St Georges Road, Beckenham, Car Park for free on a bank holiday. I got fined today because I assumed it was still free and came back to a ticket. I went to the notice board and the information is silent on the issue of Bank Holidays. Lesson learnt, but instead of leaving people to read the notices two or three times checking to see whether their reasonable assumption is correct - why not make it clear charges apply on bank holidays to eliminate any doubt?
