I am going to Chatsworth House Christmas Market and I am staying at Poolsbrook Country Park Caravan Club Site in my Motorhome.
Accordingly, we are also looking to go Christmas shopping in Nottingham Town Centre and to get to the City from our club site, we are going to drive the Motorhome to the Queens Drive, Park and Ride Eco Hub, Queens Dr, Nottingham and then get the bus into the city, well that was our plan.
Today I called Nottingham City Transport and the chap I spoke to was very helpful by stating they do run busses from the two Park and Ride sites, but he did not know if I could park a Motorhome within the park and ride sites, due to height restriction bars. As such he gave me the telephone number of 0115 8761300 to call, which is the dept that run this park and rides so I was told.
I called this number 0115 8761300 and spoke to a nice chap called Tony (please pass on my thanks to him). He confirmed that I could park my motorhome at the park and ride but due to the height restriction bars, I would need to press the intercom and then the outside wardens would let me in. That said Tony said that the wardens may even let me park in one of the coach car parks instead.
So could you please confirm this fact for me and thank you in anticipation of your urgent reply.
