The Asheville City Parking Services is by far the worst entity I’ve ever interacted with. They have accused me of abusing my pass and threatened to revoke it when it was their computer errors causing the pass to malfunction. I have always complied with the enter and exit rules. On another occasion when I was trying to exit the garage and my pass was malfunctioning, with several people behind me waiting to exit, a parking attendant threatened to entrap me in the garage unless I paid her, delaying the other paying customers from being able to exit. This garage has cameras and presumably they could verify if I was in fact abusing my pass. I will be filing a formal complaint if this mistreatment continues.
