 - In most other countries parking is free. Charges are counterproductive.

 - This website clearly states that you can park here for an hour (a good time for a walk) for £1 or £2 for two hours. Yesterday we tried to buy a ticket and the cheapest ticket was £2.40! That makes it an expensive walk.
