- Beware, there appears to be a Scam opperated out this car park. I used the car park from 3.30pm on Saturday 20th January to Sunday 21st Jan 2024. I paid the £8 24 hour fee, displayed my ticket on the front dash and left the car park on Sunday morning at 9.45am. I then received a £100 for not paying and leaving the car park after 8 minute (£60 if I paid within 14 days). This was utter fabrication. Checking other reviews I see that this has occured regularly over the years and what happens it that despite offering proof of payment (which I have just done). One continues to recieve ever threatening requests for payment. I have informed the Premier Inn Hotel, advising that they should not be directing their guest to the car park and I have informed the police. If you do use this car park take photographic evidence of your ticket displayed in the car and keep your ticket.
