6th & A Parking

 - I parked here regularly for symphony concerts. Cost used to be $5, which was reasonable considering the lack of demand for parking on a Friday or Saturday night at 8:00. That rate appears to have been discontinued, even though the garage is mostly empty on symphony nights. Also, the south elevator never works on Friday nights. This has been a problem for well over a year. Ridiculous. Lastly, the pay machine in the lobby will not take cash. Again, ridiculous. Really bad customer service.

 - I used to park here when attending concerts at the Symphony. It was convenient and inexpensive $5 but I no longer do. One night when I retutned to get my auto parked on the4yh floor there was a man squatted down in the side of my car brandishing a knife. Thank goodness I was not alone that night and my friend spotted him giving us time to get in the car and get away from the garage. We are senior women and it shook us up. I have not been back since. Unfortunately as far as I know the special $5 fee on concert nights was discontinued so I stopped attending concerts also as I come from the South Bay some 10 miles south of this area.
