- What has happened to ValuPark over the last six months or so? We have been parking at the Long Term lot for over 15 years, and have seen many improvements in service over that time, but for our last two trips (April and June 2019) the experience was nothing like it had been in the past. It used to be that the shuttle driver pulled up in your row to pick you up as soon as you were parked, and often helped to load the bags onto the shuttle as well. On these last two trips, it took 10 -15 minutes for the shuttle bus to come pick us up (on the second occasion I actually had to call ValuPark on my cell phone to ask why we were not being picked up and what we should do), we had no help with the bags and the radio chatter on the way to the airport clearly indicated confusion and chaos among the drivers and dispatchers. On our return, we had to wait outside baggage claim in lines until enough shuttles arrived to accommodate everyone. It is so disappointing to see that this service has deteriorated so much and so quickly, while the price of parking has increased. Perhaps there was a change of management, or perhaps the operation grew too big too fast - whatever the reason, I can no longer recommend using ValuPark. Next trip, we will try out FastPark or one of the other area lots and hope for better service. ValuPark, if you manage to recover from this decline in service, please advertise specifically what you have fixed, and we will give you a second chance!
