- The payment machine malfunctioned after charging my credit card, displayed a “ticket mishandling error”, and didn't give me the parking ticket back The parking attendant then argued with my for 30+ minutes, first saying that he saw me take the ticket back in a video, then when I asked to see the video I saw it was another person. Then he said I had to show him proof that I paid, so when I showed him the payment in my credit card's website, he said that didn't really prove I paid since it was still “pending” (like all credit card transactions do). On and on it went and he refused to let me out - until the next customer came up and the machine did the same exact thing to him! When the attendant finally agreed to open the gate, I said, "won't you at least say 'sorry'" and he said some wise crack and walked off.
I was a regular customer at this lot, parking here a few times a week. Sorry, but they’ve lost me as a customer.
