- I parked at 609 S. State Street in March of 2018, through purchasing a space through Spot Hero. Unfortunately, my receipt from Spot Hero had 1 letter off from my actual license plate. However, the Parking entity (609 S. State) had my receipt number. Rather than offer valued customer service, the company had my car towed by Rendered Services, who is the nastiest towing company in the Chicago metro area, besides Lincoln Towing.
I had to take a taxi up to 2019 W. Rascher, which is in the Andersonville neighborhood, miles from the parking lot. Then pay to get my car out of the two pound. The experience was one of the worst I have had in my life. In addition to my belief, that 609 S. State Street and Rendered Services are engaged in unfair business practices, Rendered Services has received 373 citations, and once had their licensed revoked for such practices.
In addition to myself getting my car that day, another person behind me had to retrieve his car as well. He had parked at 609 S. State Street, and had his receipt. While he did forget to put it in the window of his car, just to make him pay $218.50, plus taxi fees, is mean and downright evil.
I will never park at 609 S. State Street, and let this review serve as notice to all. This is not a company you want to give your money to. If you ever need them to treat you as a valued customer, you will not receive that type of treatment. Go elsewhere. #CustomersMatter! I selected one star because I had to. #ZeroStars
