Rodney Street Car Park

 - Saw the reviews on another website which warned of the fines applied at this website unfortunately I failed to ignore the warnings and Guess what Fined £100 !!!! This is what happened to me Parked my car and used the mobile app which was displayed on the lamp post in the car park entered my details and I was pleased initially that the pay by phone app had my details as I have used it previously.The reason behind my charge is the fact that I own two cars and I am certain that I would not have made this error the correct registration was entered on the app but during processing there was a glitch and the web transaction seemed to crash as it was being processed however a payment was accepted £1.80 and the app was counting down my time spent in the car park when I left the car park I had about 18 mins remaining,a week later fine arrives in post you cannot ring euro car parks to discuss this its all on line I appealed about the charge an was unsuccessful decided to pay the £50 fine however because I had raised an appeal on line to POPLA and decided to pay the fine it had now been increased to £100 BE warned this company cannot be contacted if you appeal the cost increases to £100. My opinion is that the website defaulted to my other registration I'm very sure about this avoid at all cost Avoid EURO CAR PARKS you will be tricked as its so easy to get caught and you will lose out.

 - So many complaints about this company from family and friends (Euro Car Parks). I have had 2 PCN's here......once when I was 5 mins late returning to my car and another which I am appealing as they have claimed (incorrectly) I overstayed and I have tickets to prove that I didn't - they rely on people just paying their extortionate fines.....check out the personal wealth of Barry and Rita Tucker who own Euro car Parks!!!!! It's just the hassle - AVOID them - but if you have to use them, photograph everything, your car, ticket, ticket machine, keep the ticket for at least 3 weeks but ideally try anywhere that's not Euro Crook Parks. Not that I'm bitter at all!!!

 - First time that we have visited, Wigan the people are really nice. Drove into Rodney Street Car park, the machine was not working, no staff , called the HELP LINE, to make a payment, all automated and we did not have a credit card, we then left after 10 minutes and 2 weeks later £100 fine Avoid at all costs
