- I was happy to see $19.45 written on a the sign. So as I was aiming to go to work for 8:30am (time then was 8:11am) I made sure to ask for the price for the whole day for confirmation. The gentlemen told me $23. He Proceeded to give me a ticket and asked me when I’ll be back. I said between 8/8:30pm. I take my ticket and go to work with the understanding that I am paying $23 when I get back from work. I come back at 8:15pm and to my utmost surprise, my was more than double the price that I was initially quoted. When asking the reason why, I was than told for the first time that it’s because I stayed longer than 12hrs. I was also told that this was written on the sign. There’s a couple of things wrong with this
1. I took a picture of this sign with my phone which I wish I could upload here you wouldn’t be able to make out the note about 12hrs as it was in the tiniest font
2. The gentleman had a clear opportunity to tell me that I would pay more after 12hrs, especially after I told him when I’d be back. That wasn’t done. What’s more sad is when I asked to have him on the phone, he told me he clearly remembers me and I told him I’d be back at 6pm (impossible because I had a meeting then)
3. I clearly said between 8 to 830, words that I kept true to but literally felt like I was ripped off because the employee miss the opportunity to provide vital info.
4. I spoke to the supervisor who cared more about making a quick +$37 Instead of acquiring lifetime customer
