- After driving into the garage and deciding I didn't have enough time to shop, I drove back out to exit. As I turned around I noticed a 5 car waiting line. Two out of the five had major issues trying to pay to exit the garage. One of them pushed the button for help and a very rude, demeaning and impatient lady was heard over the intercom speaking to the man waiting in the car to be let out. His card was not being read after inserting it multiple times. After waiting for five minutes, the lady finally let him out. When it came to my turn, I was being charged for sitting in my car waiting in line for 12 min. a total of $5.00.I pushed the button and explained to the lady that I had not parked, but had merely driven in and turned right back to exit-I did a "U-ey". She sarcastically asked what is a "U-ey"?If I was in the garage I had to have parked it.I explained what I did again and she (in a very demeaning and sarcastic tone) said you are either a pedestrian, in which you can walk out, or a car driver in which you have to pay. Then she asked what time does my card say I checked in?I stated 14:22 and the time was now 2:34. She exclaimed quite loudly over the intercom that I had been in there two hours and needed to pay. (Obviously she doesn't understand a 24 hour clock.)She then hung up the intercom. Frustratingly I buzzed the button again realizing she didn't understand the time and tried to explain, but she wouldn't let me out and started to yell over me.Incredible experience!
