- I was concerned when I learned that the elevator was not working. An Amtrak employee told us it had not been working for weeks. What do handicapped people do? Even if you can walk, there is quite an incline to the train station. Walking up this incline pulling a suitcase would be a problem for most handicapped and some others. It appears the station is not following handicapped regulations and laws.
