- The policy of increasing rates during high-demand periods has now become insulting. Last eve, October 19, 2022, it was up to $35. And this for a 2-3 hour stay. This demand pricing has become exploitive by the city, and is an affront to residents attending a myriad of events at Seattle Center.
Is there no sensitivity to the public, just because there is a high demand? The cost of parking should not be the financial stream that keeps Seattle Center viable. Parking should FACILITATE utilizing events here. It has now become outrageous. The $35 level was a new high (or low)!
