- Rent-a-cops that don't know the law, can't read the rules that require permits to take pictures on public, city property, conspiring with local police to illegally claim the parking garage is private property and issue me a trespassing warning. All because I had the gall to try to take pictures of the Tampa skyline from the rooftop level of the garage with my three teenage sons. One of these clowns even tried to tell me that taking pictures with a cell phone was legal, but that I was breaking the law by using "a professional" camera (his definition of professional being a camera with interchangeable lenses).
