 - Saturday, Sept. 23rd, my sister had an appt at Kaiser Oakland/Fabiola bldg. Her appt was @ 8:45am.. She drove and found a " Kaiser garage " that I was not aware was available.. I have been a Kaiser patient for over 40 years. I am aware of the (3) garages available.. When my sister came out of the appt. she could not find her car and spent 3 hours looking . She had help from a lady with her 2 daughters . When they could not find her car, they gave my sister a ride home.. I took my sister back to Kaiser and I drove thru all 3 garages looking for my sister's car.. Finally, we reported her missing car to garage security.. The security supervisor looked for her car as well.. There was 1 other garage that we did not search because we were not aware of it.. The supervisor knew of the other garage and found my sister's car.. I WANT TO SAY "THANK YOU SIR" for your patience and understanding and not treating us like we were crazy women.. I did not get this KIND GENTLEMANS name.. I wanted to buy him lunch or at least send him a GIFT CARD FOR HIS KIND treatment..

 - Yesterday, Someone who claims to be a garage employee name Mack or Matt accosted me at this parking garage. He is a classic "KAREN". The man is one of the most racist people I have encountered in my more than 50 years of living in Oakland. In fact, been so mistreated, threatened, harassed, and demeaned by this person is particularly upsetting to me because of the fact that I was born in Kaiser Hospital Oakland, and the majority of my life has been under the medical care of the Kaiser system. I don't wish to go into a play by play scenario, but within seconds of him shouting to get my attention he was threatening to call security on me. I was on a Zoom meeting with my headset on at the time with my backpack on with laptop etc. He ran after me and blocked my path. He then ran to a doorway and appeared to be grabbing something to use as a weapon. At this point I was in fear for my life. He was a White man attacking me with an attitude of superiority and authority over me shouting orders to me. He was physically blocking my path and ran to press a button to call for security. His face, tone, words, and attitude were filled with anger and hostility towards me. Since he called the security guard, I felt an obligation to wait and express my concerns to the security and allow them to take my statement. From the first 3 seconds I feared that this encounter with your employee might lead to my death because he is threatening to call the security & police. I am humiliated and insulted!
