- I am from Orlando, FL. My furrier's shop is located at 224 W. 30th Street. I parked my car across the street at 227 West 30th St, in New York City on December 30, 2019. I entered the garage and received a ticket. I was aware of the pricing for the 1st hour started $21.96 etc. There were no other signs listed nor did the cashier stated anything about a concert event. I returned to the garage 2hrs. 30minutes. I took my ticket to the booth before leaving. I questioned the amount stated ($33.79) the young lady state there is a 4% local taxes added. My total was ($35.14) paid by credit card and a receipt. It was posted to my credit card account on December 30, as pending until January 2nd, posted with a different amount listed above. The merchant submitted ($50.00). I called 4x on January 14, to the New Garden Garage LLC New York, NY requesting to speak with a manager. I was then informed it was changed to $50.00, due to Phish Concert at Madison Square Garden is a flat rate. I called again on January 16, it was not a pleasant experience speaking with management. Management is not willing to investigate, giving you several addresses and numbers to confuse you nor consider reversing the transaction. Be alert of any charges occurring on your credit card when parking at this garage. I do not recommend parking at this garage.
