- I recently took Metra into Chicago from the station in LaFox, Illinois. I wonder if the station is ever cleaned. There was bird droppings everywhere, a dead bird in the seating area and the signs that should have the name of the station were not there. The signs were just a frame. I would be embarrassed to have friends visit via Metra and see this station. I guess I will have to pick guests up in Geneva, even though its a longer drive. Hopefully this issue will be addressed.
