 - I resently obtained a disabled parking permitt and parked in the Peel Centre in stockport. The car was parked in a disabled bay and my badge and clock clearly displayed. I have just received a penalty notice for not having purchased a parking ticket (£2.00 ) and received a fine of £60.00 which i did not realise I required with the badge. I paid the fine as understood if I challenged and lost would have cost me £100 and as a 69-year-old pensioner I cannot afford to lose another £40 for my error. I could have parked just off the carpark on the main road and paid nothing which I will do in future and risk nothing. Would suggest avoiding the peel centre car park if driving with a blue badge and will raise a complaint with Stockport Council.

 - No stars. Terrible company. We visited The Peel Centre with our Grandchildren to purchase from Hobbycraft. Being strangers, we are from Norwich, and did not notice any pay for parking signs as we were looking for Hobbycraft, and shopped for half and hour. We have been abroad for 2 months and came home yesterday to 2 letters from Ocean Parking followed by another today. Had the letters been an obvious parking fine the friend looking after the house would have advised us and we could have responded earlier. The £60 fine escalated to £160. Come to Norwich, we don’t pay at our retail parks. the PEEL COMPANY along with OCEAN PARKING are disgusting money grabbing companies.

 - This company is a disgrace. They are intimidatory and money grabbing. They refuse any appeals which they are obliged to uphold so they can pressure the customer into paying and will ignore the ombudsman decison too. Intimidatory tactics include referring cases to the bailiff even when the Ombudsman has instructed an appeal to be upheld. Also do not leave the car park to park elsewhere on the Peel Centre because they will count it as two separate incidents and fine you. If you have to park here then tread very carefully. Better still park elsewhere or shop elsewhere. Absolutely vile company and it is a disgrace that they are still allowed to manage the parking here. Shame on the people who contract this to them and shame on the people who work for them

 - Zero stars. Avoid parking here. Ocean Parking is a contemptible company. It’s outrageous and shameful that they charged a £100 fine to an 88-year old lady for not displaying her Blue Badge. We had paid for a parking ticket and we do possess a Blue badge. My mother had simply neglected to display it whilst I got her mobility walker out of the boot on a very wet day. You told us that we had not provided any evidence of being a Blue Badge Holder. Our email correspondence with Ocean Parking clearly shows her Blue Badge number. Shop somewhere else!

 - Don't deserve any stars these money grabbing picks, charging disabled people and making them walk to a pay machine. Wankers
