 - Terrible experience parking today. The car park is a total mess! Lifts not working people struggling with shopping and pushchairs. Stairwell in darkness, people having to use mobile phone lights to see. And, as the ticket machine was not working on the drive in, lots of people with no ticket couldn’t leave, hence a huge queue to get out! The work on this car park has been going on all year, it’s a total mess! And they have the cheek to charge an exorbitant amount to park there!

 - Have visited this car park most years since 1977 and have had little trouble using it despite driving a Discovery since the first 3 door version came out. Today going up and down levels took on a significant challenge and three times I parked and could not get out of the vehicle despite using the low gear ratio and parking in the optimum position each time. While admitting to being modestly overweight (probably not obese), I could not even exit the parkby transferring my 72 year old frame over the central console into the rear set compartment and out of the back door as I was then unable to get between the car and the pillar and this was my third or fourth attempt at occupying a parking space! Having eventually parked on the 6th floor(!) I then found both lifts were out of service and the ticket machine was also out of commission. As one of the local businesses’employees also commented the air in the staircase area was more than a little unpleasant and this in a major tourist town. Finally having enjoyed a very pleasant lunch and made some modest purchases we returned to our vehicle and valiantly attempted to exit the car park. While advancing years may be impairing my driving ability the all round vision from the Discovery’s driving position just enabled me to go down the exit levelswhile scraping nearly every kerb on the way out. With care I have had little difficulty in previous years in either parking or transferring levels. The final insult was a charge of £24 for<7hr

 - I now have a broken ankle due to negligence in the maintenance of the car park. I slipped into an uncovered drain hole in a badly lit area where my car was parked

 - Was horrified to come back to my car and find the charge was £24 because I had stayed just over 6 hours. Rather spoilt a lovely day out in the town.

 - They changed the direction of traffic flow within the car park a few months ago and it is terrible trying to squeeze even a reasonable sized car up the up ramps, if you've got a 4 X 4 forget it. You now have to queue just to get in it because of the difficulty getting up the up ramps. A 5 year old could of done a better job of the traffic flow in this car park, why didn't they just leave it as it was? Avoid this car park!

 - This car park is horrendous for parking. The way in and out are very restricted. Unfortunately I have bashed my car twice and have known of many people who have hit posts. The owners of this car park need to restructure the route of in/out. It is also very expensive to park. Avoid this car park if possible. Owners of 4x4 cars BEWARE.
