- This private car park is intended for use by the patrons of the various social and charitable organisations surrounding it and other residents of Sudbury, in the pursuit of recreation and leisure-time activities; as such it should not be used by local businesses, their staff/customers, or commuters using the train station. We have noticed a significant increase in its weekly daytime usage, to the point where it cannot continue to fulfil its intended role and patrons of the various organisations cannot park.
We have therefore installed a barrier across the entrance of the car park; and this will be closed off at various times during the week meaning the car park will only be accessible to authorised users. The barrier closures will commence on the 12th December and we are therefore notifying car park users that there is a risk of vehicles being locked in, or out, of the car park at variable times, and consideration should be given to this risk when leaving your vehicle there.
