 - Like all these Private car parking companies they have unfairness and greed and at they heart of everything they do. Genuine mistakes and they come down on you with unjustifiable high financial pentiles, no empathy and are there just to catch the innocent public out and line their pockets. Britannia are another example of wild west behaviour of private parking companies. POPLA the appeals Ombudsman are a waste of time and i suspect there's collusion with the car park operators and aren't an independent body so favor these private parking companies. Probably some financial incentive to reject appeals that have good merit. The whole privates parking business is rotten and needs completely reform.

 - GOT SENT A PARKING NOTICE FOR NON PAYMENT OF TICKET,EVEN THOUGH I HAD MY MOTHER INLAW IN THE CAR AND HOLDS A BLUE BADGE WHICH WAS DISPLAYED IN THE CAR AT THE CORRECT TIME,SO WHY ON EARTH WAS I SENT A NOTICE ??

 - Avoid at all costs 8 minutes late £100 reduced to £60 half of the meters dont work and it takes 5 minutes to get a ticket

 - Sadly this company doesn't do Plymouth any favours - I will never use this car park again!!!! for as long as its Brit park

 - Dante's various circles would put Britannia in the fourth; greed! Will make sure I never park in one of their car parks again even if it means I forget to put the Blue Badge I correctly displayed in the windscreen at the time and have to walk a great deal further. Britannia play the shame game!

 - Agreed = avoid Lambhay Hill. Had daughter and son-in-law down to visit . Paid for 2 hours whilst we had a wander around the Barbican. 10 minutes late £80. Made it an expensive visit for kids earning minimum wage. No flexibility with these heartless bastards and as a Plymothian it makes me sick to think people enjoying themselves in our fine city are punished so heavily for such small transgressions.

 - AVOID THIS CAR PARK!!!! Was 5 minutes late back,as I have an elderly parent. I was hit with a £80 fine through the post. This is a CCTV controlled car park records entry and exit times. I tried to appeal but I was told I failed to make a valid payment.£3.60 I found it is cheaper to Park on the street.

 - I would avoid at all costs any car park run by Britannia Parking aka Brit Park. In Plymouth these are Harbour Approach (Lockyers Quay ANPR), Fish Quay, North Quay Edge (Sutton Harbour), Charles Cross and Lambhay Hill (ANPR). If you don’t read their entire list of rules and follow them to the letter expect an automated £80 fine with ANPR camera evidence 2 weeks after parking even if you have paid and displayed your ticket. I have since found out their parking charges per hour are higher than on street parking provided by the council. Their appeals process is designed to drag out to the limits of the British parking association guidelines and it will be declined no matter your argument or evidence (even if you can show the physical ticket purchased or prove their machine was faulty at the time of purchase). Save yourself the hassle, park a further 5 or 10 mins walk away in a council run car park.
