 - I could not find cost information on parking at the entrance of this garage so I pulled into the garage looking for an attendant. Not finding one, I looked around for instructions. I couldn't find any so I walked to the garage entrance and asked another driver. That person told me I had to use an app. I tried to download the app but couldn't as I didn't have access to the Internet. I pulled out of the garage to park elsewhere. Parkingeye sent me a fine notice. I appealed. They denied it saying I did not provide evidence. It looks like many drivers have been fined unjustifiably. Both Woolstaplers as well as Parkingeye may be using perhaps illegal practices to extort money from unwary drivers to charge 100 GBP for 13 minutes of my stopping in the garage to look for parking instructions. I hope someone can get the courts to prevent them from exploiting other drivers.

 - Echoing some of the other reviews on here. The app doesn't work underground (or in most of Chichester because of the reception) but this isn't actually why I got a ticket. I returned with just enough time to spare only to find I was locked out of the car park because the handle had been pulled off the only pedestrian access door so I couldn't get back to my car. The handle was apparently missing for many months and evidence of this can be seen on Google Street View if you look thought the historic pictures. I was issued with an invoice (fine), so I appealed. My appeal was rejected by POPLA, so after many many threatening letters it ended up in small claims court. I stood firm but ParkingEye were utterly relentless right up until the point (very late in the process) when they realised I wasn't going to pay the extortionate fine (or the subsequent last ditch effort to discount it). They pulled out of the court action by not filling in the paperwork and I've heard nothing since from them. It's a total waste of time for me and the county courts and a waste of tax payers money. There needs to be some common sense applied at POPLA - it's shameful that this didn't get thrown out at the initial appeal stage and for such a small amount too...

 - There is no payment machine in this car park, so you need to have the Paybyphone app. As you are underground you cannot access the internet and even, once you are outside, it is very difficult to get any signal. It all becomes very stressful, it took me ages to get enough signal to finally pay. What they don't tell you, is that they record you arriving by ANPR and start your parking time from that moment, so if you leave it to the last minute to leave when you think your time is up, you are already well over your allotted time. I too have been fined by this unscrupulous carpark. Never again.

 - My sister, daughter and I (myself dsabled with blue badge) parked during July 2024. I and my relatives could not download the app. We went up to street level and still could not downlaod the app. After several attempts (failed) decided to move the car. We left and a week later received a PCN claiming a payment of £100 for 21 Minutes of parking. THis company is hard to trace. My brother in law tried to find the "allowed time to register". This is unavailable to find. Unlike other car parks. Adoid this car park, as it seems to be set up to cost you a lot of money.

 - I have contacted my local MP who is looking into my case and this organisation. Worth a try if you've been scammed.

 - We (my wife & I) were taking a break at Warners Sinah Warren Hotel, Hayling Island – 18th - 22nd September. On Wednesday 20th September we drove into Chichester for a stroll around the town centre and lunch. Not knowing the area we followed signs directing us to a car park (The Woolstaplers car park) After parking my car I discovered that you cannot make cash or card payments, payment required through an on-line/mobile app. I was unable to download the required app to make a payment as nil mobile signal (possibly as the car park is an underground basement) Returned to me car and left. Two/three weeks later I was issued with a £100.00 parking fine. Scam. Avoid at all costs. I would rate as zero if this option was available.

 - SHOCKING CAR PARK! The app doesn't work so you can't pay for parking. They are now threatening me with court action as they have fined me £120 for 11 minutes in their car park - all of which I was trying to access the App to pay!!

 - DON'T EVEN THINK OF USING THIS CAR PARK!! IT'S A CON AND A SCAM!!

 - *FYI* Telephone number listed doesn't take you to the enforcement or help for this car park

 - Machines don't work; signage directs you to an app with no record of the car park; constant use by rough sleepers and drug users; distinct feeling of danger; terrible conditions. Avoid at all costs.

 - Machines dont work, facility is dated, doesnt feel secure and narrow spaces with lots of pillars. Because machines dont work, i payed online but after arrival. Because of this i got a £100 fine! I appealed but they denied it. I'm avoiding a lawsuit as I'm in a mortgage application process and want to be squeaky clean. Please avoid this car park.

 - Have used the car park regularly . Since the new company took over the Mgt of the machines has become very unreliable . Paid for two hours at the appropriate time 13th Dec , just received a fine for £60/£100 today. Luckily I kept the ticket so have appealed . Very aware of this company but who keeps tickets normally and how would you prove your innocence if you didn’t keep your ticket . Will not use this car park again .
- Trevor B.
 - After I paid my money for a ticket, the ticket machine popped up a printer error message but did not give my money back or a ticket. I assumed the transaction went through and it was just a faulty machine. Just been issued with a £60/ 100 fine

 - AVOID THIS CAR PARK - even if you pay a parking ticket, they will send through a fine for not having paid a ticket.

 - I have just received a fine of £60 - £100 for parking here. I was within my paid 2 hours parking but a camera clocks the time you enter & leave the car park regardless of the time you've paid for. Please be AWARE this car park is a con.
