 - Parking Rates do not reflect reality. The "Early Bird" rate "in before 9:00 am and out between 3.30 -6 pm" is advertised as $6. I was in at out within those posted times and was automatically charged at the machine in the lobby the "Daily Max" of $10.00. I was in such a hurry that I left without asking. On the other hand, the man behind the window seemed very helpful, probably taking a look at my perplexed face over the price and asking if I was trying to get a receipt, which requires one to push a "blue button", which did work. Also, it appears that you do not have to use the lobby at all to pay, if you have a credit card. That was unclear and would have been nice to know since I had to go back to my car to get my ticket, trudge back to the lobby and then go back up again. The location is convenient to 150 E Gay if you have business in that building, and although overpriced, the location is nice on a bitter cold day.

 - The LAZ Garages are poorly attended and too expensive. There are plenty of superior options throughout the city, especially Downtown. Park here at your own risk. The lot between the Capital Plaza lot and the 4th and Capital lot, owned by another company, is less expensive. There are also actually people monitoring the lot to prevent break-ins, unlike the LAZ lots. The prices charged by LAZ are high. My fiancee, for example, paid a recurring monthly rate, yet managed to be ticketed 25 times by LAZ before they straightened it out. They threatened to take her to court for not paying for the parking she had, in essence, already been billed for. Did I mention that their rates are high? My parents parked in a LAZ lot on a Saturday afternoon and had their car broken into. You would think since the company charges so much, they would have somebody watching the lot. But no such luck. The staff is also rude and unhelpful when presented with problems. If possible, parking in a non-LAZ lot or walking Downtown are superior options to giving these guys money. In conclusion, LAZ charges too much money, is rude and doesn't monitor their lots. Best advice: park anywhere else.
