- Used to love this car park. They used to have a weekend rate of £2.50 for the day, in order to attract custom, given that it's quite a walk into town. No skin off their nose, since it's an academic car park, isn't needed at the weekend, and would be largely unused otherwise. I went there today, and found that they now have no reductions for the weekend. Not only do that, but their payment machines are programmed to lie about how long you've been there. We were there for just over 3 hours, which it rounded up to 5 hours and 5 minutes, so that we could be charged the rate for 5-7 hours. Won't be going again. And given that we were one of about 8 cars in the whole building, I'm guessing most have decided it's no longer worth it.
