 - Just to be fair....the new handicap two day limit is a statewide thing, not just Charleston. Along with the change in handicap parking they also limit parking to 30 days unless you get special permission. The reason they did it is because too many people were parking there cars and leaving for the summer causing a major shortage of spots and of course revenue. Put the blame on the ones the abused the parking and not the airport.

 - My wife and I live in Murrells Inlet . She is handicapped and we use Charleston International airport when we travel to our son and family in Seattle mainly because of the assistance we receive inside the airport right to the plane. Plus the parking is ( or was !) free in the Parking Deck. So surprise surprise when we just returned from Seattle from a 10 day stay and go to check out , to be informed handicap parking fee is $133. ( I first thought she meant $1.33!) There is no noice or signage in or around the parking lot or airport to say the fees have changed. This practice is underhand and devious and looking at the previous review , we are not the only ones to fall foul of this despicable behaviour from the airport parking authority. So much so, in future we will fly through a much more friendly and honest Myrtle Beach airport

 - Great parking garage. spacious and easy to navigate. Gone 17 days on a wonderful vacation. Parking close to the airport makes traveling with a handicapped person somewhat easier, especially since parking for handicapped is free. Oh, Wait! That's been taken away!!! So a surprise cost of $225 when we returned. When the attendant said "two twenty-five" I found two Ones and a quarter thinking that $2.25 must be for some kind of a service fee. You should have seen the attendant's face. That part was funny.
