 - Today, I was charged $4.00 even w/ validation and a purchase at Macy. I even asked the clerk if my validation was stamped correctly w/ 2 QR codes. she said yes 2 stamps gave me hours. I wasn't even there an hour. I will not shop Macys downtown again!

 - So apparently my vehicle is not the only vehicle that has been locked in their garage over night. There are no signs posted and no notice that tells you they will lock you in. They are attached to Macy's and a shopping center with multiple restaurants and shopping areas. I have been here before and the man that gives you your ticket never speaks or says thank you or even your welcome. I have always left before 7 so I have obviously never had this issue. But yesterday it was 7:45 and the Host at The Yard House restaurant said they couldnt validate my parking because it is Macy's and that I better hurry because they close at 8 and they do not care and will lock you in.So I ran down to get it only to see they locked me in. After speaking to the security guard he told me it happens every day and he does not know why they continue to do so. I also spoke to a young lady that says she never parks in there due to her vehicle being broken into and the attendant didn't care and said oh well. Even though he is there the whole time and there are cameras he didn't see anything.. It is a very small garage that you can see who comes and goes at all times so that is very suspicious. So long story short I called the number on their website 800-877-9984 and the 510 number on my ticket and there was no answer or even an emergency hotline. So I called again in the morning and a very rude man that went by the name of "Jeff" (would not give me his last name) was very rude

 - Hours are NOT POSTED upon entry. Parked here to watch an evening movie and my car was locked in overnight. When I returned, there were no hours posted anywhere showing when they locked up or what time the next day they would reopen. Hours must be posted OUTSIDE THE GARAGE for people to understand when they need to return to claim their vehicle!! $15 scam, plus the money for a ride home.

 - Was assured this was a safe place to park to for myself and two grand daughters, got locked lot of garage. was left on L st. with my two grand daughters waiting for uber. So not cool! The guard said this happens all the time which assured me that this is a problem, this could be a very serious problem if someone got hurt or had an emergency. or if something had happen to me or my grands. Macys is either a part of the new center or they or not and should state that. If they are not then there should be no entries or exits to the Mall. rating is -0

 - Macy's parking locked my wife in overnight! She parked to do some shopping before meeting me at the movie theater. When we got out, she was locked out and couldn't retrieve her car. Fortunately, I work downtown and had separate parking for my car. I had to drive her back into Sacramento the next day to retrieve her car and she missed half a day's work! If the lot hours were posted, the need to be posted better. There was no indication of the hours on the parking ticket.

 - No posting for times open or communication from guard. Car locked in overnight and had to pay to get it out the next day - over a hundred and fifty dollars cost in fines, ubers home and to work and to the carpark again. DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK AND BOYCOTT MACY'S FOR THIS MONEY TRAP!

 - parked for a movie with a parking permit validated for 4 hours free. came out 10 min over 4 hours. the exit machine charged my credit card $4. I only realized when i checked later on the website when i got home. The website states $1 for additional 30 min. The management should make sure that the machine follow the rule!!

 - I'd give this garage no stars if I could. Parked here Saturday night as this is only the second time I've been to the area to visit Punch Bowl Social. Apparently this is the only garage that closes and locks cars in with $100 fines. The attitude of the parking attendant doesn't help either insisting that the only ride we will be taking home is an uber. This can be problematic for out of towners who aren't familiar with the parking situation in the DOCO area. Please avoid this parking garage like the plague and use the garage further down L street just before 3rd street or the 24 hour fitness parking lot off 7th street.
