- On 9/27, I made an application for the AAdvantage card, was approved, and sent the information with 16 digit card number, exp. date, and 3-digit pin in the back. When I wanted to pay for the plane ticket, it would not accept the card.
The next day, 9/28 around noon, I tried again and went around in circles, tossed back and forth between AA and Citi, for two whole hours and 5 different agents, the Masters of passing the buck. I wanted to take advantage of the $200 credit but to no avail. I was so fed up, I decided to cancel the whole trip and the card.
The last agent I spoke told me that it would cost me JUST A LITTLE MORE to pay for a ticket that I could change the dates with no problem. That little bit more turned out to be the difference between $289 and $1850. I asked her if she could honestly say that was "just a little more" with no response.
Furthermore, I asked hfor her supervisor to wave the $25 agent fee for paying through them, and she simply passed me to another department. I hung up in total disgust.
I challenge you to listen to the conversations that you guys SO MUCH RECORD FOR TRAINING PURPOSES because some of your agents have less training than street sweepers. Disgusted, Sergio A. Martinez (305) 342-1748
