 - They play gotcha with customers. The lot is not run by park me. The rates at Parkme.com are not accurate. It is run by parking.com, and they charge $ 30 plus a "convenience" fee of .99 for using a credit card, even though it is the only way to pay. If you arrive a few minutes before 5, they do not allow you to use the flat rate. But charge a per-hour rate. my bill was $30.99 for 5 hours (dinner and a show). My recommendation is to go elsewhere, I will. I called, and they basically said, "Too bad," even if they were polite.

 - Great place to park for theatre HOWEVER, had an overcharge problem. Called the number for help and a) security people know NOTHING and b) extremely difficult to understand. Once I got a hold of the Garage, they told me I should have asked them for help. DUH! I did and security told me they couldn't help. Thank God I wasn't reporting a crime! Anyway, total confusion cost me an extra $20. Not a huge amount but when you're disabled, every penny counts.

 - Great location for parking for the Performing Arts Center. Also a great price at $10 flat rate for weekends. However, I paid my ticket ahead of the play because I was told I could do so. Then when I left the parking lot after the play, the ticket wouldn't work to open the gate. Luckily an attendant was available to help. He said I should not have prepaid the ticket. Why would it matter when I paid for the parking fee when it's a FLAT RATE??? The attendant said, "I will let you out this time, but I really am supposed to charge you another $10." What?? Again, it's a FLAT RATE! Plus, the line for the parking fee machines is so long after the play, it seems like your company would want people to pay ahead of time to avoid the lines.

 - My parking experience was great. The parking garage was easy to find and there were plenty of empty spaces. I appreciate seeing a security guard and being able to ask where the parking office and attendant are located. I will park here when I come to the San Jose Center for Performing Arts.
