 - I too have been shopping at the Northwich retail park for near on 20 yrs & have recently been hit with a parking ticket for staying longer than 2 hours, I too was unaware of the recent parking restrictions, On this occasion i was shopping with my daughter & my 2 young granchildren, we called at B&Q and Argos & Next, after waiting in a few queues for our goods, we decided to call into Costa Coffee for some lunch with the children, one of whom is only 13 months old & needed feeding & changing, thats why we went over the alloted 2 hour time limit, but as I say 2 hours is nowhere near enough time to go in a few of the shops & stop for coffee. I will certainly think twice about browsing the shops & having lunch or even a coffee in the future.

 - The recent parking restrictions are very unfair on genuine shoppers because if anyone goes into some of the retail outlets and particularly if you are making considered purchases in one or more shops and call for a coffee you will inadvertently stay over 2 hours. On our recent visit we did not see any notice saying that any charge would be made. I suppose you could say that notices are in place but we have used this car park for many years and we were not aware of any changes or parking restrictions. We were parked for about 2 hours and 20 mins and several days after we had a very unpleasant letter demanding a parking fee of £50 and failure to pay would result in this increasing to £90. I don't think this is the way to treat shoppers and there is no wounder that people are pushed into shopping on-line. If this is customer care retail outlet don't understand that a very unpleasant after taste and may stop people trading and the car park will be empty!! Please just get real and look after people who pay the real bills and not let them be snipped at by what I consider to be sharp practices. I understand the company is probably working legally but not fairly. Maybe the retailers can do without purchases of several hundreds of pounds made by me!!!
