 - Better of getting fined for double parking than getting gouged by this parking garage and its attendants. Do not honor spothero reservations (after claiming they do) and will do everything in their power to overcharge you by the minute while they hold onto your car as collateral.

 - *NOTE TO ANYONE USING SPOTHERO TO PARK AT 140/150 CHARLES ST* While I was partially at fault for my poor experience at the 150 Charles St garage, I believe the owner of the garage (named Lincoln) had a chance to provide excellent customer service and chose not to. I reserved a spot at 140 Charles St. on SpotHero (the garage next door) and unknowingly entered 150 Charles St. The man on shift submitted my reservation code and told me I was all set. When I arrived to pick my car up two days later, I was made aware by the on-site staff that my reservation had been made for the garage next door and that I owed her $120 (atop the $58 I had paid on SpotHero for the garage next door). I was upset when Lincoln (who I got on the phone) chose not to take partial responsibility for his employee checking me in to the wrong garage under a reservation that did not exist in their system and void the fee or agree to my offer to pay for a portion. I'm not sure if the shift manager at the time of my entry knew what he was doing and took my car anyway, I hope not. Bummed me out that Lincoln was not willing to understand my predicament and help me out in good faith. To make matters worse, the Internet in their facility was not working and they were unable to run a credit card. I was forced to walk around the West Village searching for an ATM to pay them cash. I do owe Jackie a thank you for understanding the situation and at least attempting to help me out by contacting Lincoln.
