- I attempted to rent an apartment here and had the worst experience with the super and management company. They are hardly ever there and the super constantly has the wrong information. Plus if you don't speak to management about a move in, the super will try to get a broker's fee from you. There was a studio available and I went back and forth about renting it. I signed the lease and Sam from the management company yelled at me on the phone because I complained about the disgusting refrigerator and the mice droppings behind it. He didnt want me as a tenant and complained this was a bad relationship from the start. I had already signed a lease. Plus I found a dead mouse in the middle of the floor of the living space. I get the rodent situatuon. This is New York. You cant get away frkm it, but when they are refusing to fix things from the start, thats a big problem. There were burn marks on the counter top and he refused to fix it. If I could give this place a negative star, I would. This was the worst experience I ever had with a management company. They refuse to fix anything. And want someone to pay top dollar for a horrible apartment they claim to be "move-in ready." This building it has a pretty face, but an ugly upbringing. If you avoid living here please do. Don't even make it a last resort. You would be saving yourself a big headache and major stress. 1100 Franklin Avenue management if you read this, good. You guys sucks and its really disgusting how you treat people
