 - Terrible system! The Car park is a Pay on exit system. Upon exiting the Machine was 'out of order' I am happy to pay the standard fee as advertised, however i am being fined 60 for not paying, when it was their machine that was out of order. Upon submitting a complaint, the reply i got was 'Should you have not been able to pay for your parking using any payment method available on site, you should have promptly left the site' Unacceptable!

 - Paid £13 pound for parking here. Then I was sent a parking fine but being a company car didn't recieve the fine in time and then issued with another fine for an additional £100. They had issued the original fine 1 hour prior to me leaving and paying for the parking. I have wrote to them and had no reply. Avoid paking here at all costs.

 - Total frustration this morning trying to pay on exit for under an hour parking. Reflection on screen made it difficult to follow. Tried three times to pay - twice with card and once with cash. Tried to contact by phone without success. Had to leave not knowing whether I'd paid or not. YF62 BNV white Ford Fiesta

 - What are people complaining about?! Simple system, spotted on 4 different places in the car park explanation of how to use the system. People clearly can't read! Silly!

 - Used this site yesterday, fantastic - you only pay for what you use! Not sure what the other complaints are about perhaps some people have problems reading the really obvious bright yellow signs on the site. It was the busiest car park we past in York when we went into the center, now become our regular parking spot for me an my family!

 - We used this car park for years when it was pay and display. They recently changed the system to pay on departure, which is confusing enough. But two weeks ago we parked there and found a small orange sign stuck on the payment machines advertising two hours (maybe four hours - clearly I should have taken a picture) free parking between 20 July and 20 August. Turns out this is part of a scheme to encourage people into the city centre to shop, which is all well and good. But the signage I saw didn't explain that you had to get one of a list of retailers to enter your car registration number in order for the offer to apply. This has since been replaced by a larger signboard between the two machines which provides that information. But the signage in place at the time was very misleading. Based on the other reviews I have to wonder if it was deliberately misleading in order to extort fines.

 - Terrible car park. I've been sent a fine for parking here having already paid for a ticket. They put it as £100 before lowering it to £25 when I appealed which shows they know they're in the wrong so there's no way I'm paying it. Absolute scam. DON'T PAY THESE IDIOTS!!!
